As a Senior Financial Analyst, Rufus Chambers arms Cushman & Wakefield’s Investment Sales team with the information they need to drive the best possible outcomes for clients. His more than 6 years in commercial real estate include experience working on 125+ deals totaling more than $3.9B. Rufus joined the Hendrickson Johnson team in 2020 to focus on underwriting, market research, financial modeling, due diligence, and buyer correspondence for all of the team’s deals. He loves the detail-oriented nature of his work, taking responsibility for ensuring that not a single number is ever wrong. Rufus is known for his initiative, work ethic, and dedication to ongoing learning. He is proud of his team’s ability to tailor their approaches and presentations to fit each unique opportunity, examining each deal on its own merits rather than relying on cookie-cutter approaches to valuation.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Rufus was a Senior Analyst with CBRE’s Debt and Structured Finance group, performing underwriting, market research, and creation of offering memoranda. Before CBRE, he spent three and a half years in Associate and Analyst roles at third-party consulting company SitusAMC, providing due diligence, underwriting, and credit memo support for a range of clients across all property types, including retail, office, hospitality, industrial, and multifamily. He earned his BA in Finance (minor in Accounting) from Wofford College.
Rufus was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and is unapologetic about his love for college football in general and the University of Georgia Bulldogs in particular. In truth, he loves any kind of football, from American pro football to English Premier League football — he supports the Arsenal club. He moved to Colorado in 2020 a mere two months after first visiting it, having fallen in love with Denver’s smaller-city feel and nearby mountains.
