As a Senior Brokerage Specialist, Kate Lucks focuses on assisting Cushman & Wakefield’s Investment Sales Team in building and maintaining strong client relationships and enhancing client-service processes through effective communication, holistic account management, and best-in-class service. Kate’s 20+ years experience within the real estate sector has included managing strategy, branding, marketing, lead generation, pursuits, training, events, internal initiatives, and more for an impressive roster of design, architecture, commercial real estate (CRE), and homebuilding firms. She also brings hands-on experience in urban planning and development, giving her a better understanding of client projects, needs, and goals.

Open, outgoing, action-oriented, and collaborative, Kate is an adept leader and communicator with a track record of building engaged, motivated teams who genuinely enjoy their work and take pride in what they do. She loves the strategy behind the sale, the challenge of competition, and the art of dealmaking.

Prior to joining the Hendrickson Johnson team in 2022, Kate was the Director of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships with Denver-based boutique design agency Ellen Bruss Design (EBD), helping to grow the firm through strategic business development and relationship building. She also previously held a Denver-based Director of Marketing role with CRE firm Corum Real Estate Group. During Kate’s eight years in New York City, she worked as a Marketing Manager for global architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) and as a New Business Coordinator for international architecture and design firm Rockwell Group. She began her career with city planning roles in Weld and Summit Counties and a marketing and sales support role for a leading US homebuilder. Kate earned her Bachelor of Environmental Design (emphasis in Urban Planning and Real Estate Development) from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is a licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker and a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).

After growing up in Anchorage, Alaska, Kate’s career goals and opportunities brought her to Colorado, New York City, and back to Colorado, where she’s always maintained deep roots. She’s a fervent believer in the built environment, passionate about walkable neighborhoods and raising children in livable cities. In her free time, you’ll find Kate traveling, skiing, enjoying the outdoors on her stand up paddle board, spending quality time cooking with friends, and on the little-league field, where her son plays tournament baseball.
